It has no respect for any Gender, Position, Achievement or whatsoever have you. It could happen to anyone at any time. 

Now the Big question is, What happens if your phone gets stollen?, Is that the End of that phones chapter for your usage?, Is the best option just the accept the fact that you can't have it again and just move on?

Brief Story.. "I could still remember vividly because to me it was a great tragedy and big loss at of my level then. It was actually during my OND Finals, there was no light honestly in the community where i was lodged, so i had to plug & charge my phone in a passage using my Landlords Generator light. Of course, that wasn't my first day to charge my phones & even Laptop there, in fact whenever we all that are lodged in that apartment gets drained out of phone's or Laptops battery and the Landlords Gen is ON, that always used to be our savour. But honestly, on this faithful day, Luck didn't shine on me, even my so called savour couldn't help me either. To cut the long story short, it was exactly around 9:00pm, I just plugged my phone in the passage with other students phones too because that was the only place the Landlord brought out a Socket outlet just to help and assist students like me. But honestly, I didn't just plug my phone and go away, I was always constantly checking on it even while attending to a visitor in my room that just came around. The last time I checked and set my eyes on my phone was around past 11:00pm, just for the Landlords Gen to go off by 12:00am and happily came out to pickup my phone, only for me to see just my phone Charger dangling & swinging up and down without any Phone Dangling with it. I almost gave up the ghost that day, because as a student, that phone was my everything including a Tv and Radio in fact I marry that phone like a wife. I couldn't even mind the late hour it was then, I banged at my landlords door & my neighbors doors. Honestly, I did everything possible to have my phone back, but all to no avail. Even when I tried calling my line that same day as everything was still hot, the thief picked the call and was even blaming me for being so careless to have plugged my phone and left it till such late hour, I only begged him to let me have my sim cards, (because I know already the phone is gone!) He agreed to that and told me that he would remove the sim cards and throw them somewhere he would inform me to go pick it up from. But as the next day came, I called and called and called till he finally switched off the line and that was how I Iost the phone and everything in it till date".

This happens to most persons almost everyday. It doesn't have a particular country it operates in, it doesn't also have a particular person that does it. It's something anyone could do, even a trusted friend might be tempted to do so too..

Although since my last encounter with loss of phone, I haven't recorded any of such again.
